Sunday, February 24, the Montana Army National Guard will recognize 22 Soldiers and their families from the Montana National Guard 484th Military Police Company stationed in Glasgow and Malta in a Freedom Salute Ceremony, at the Billings Convention Center, 1223 Mullowney Lane, Billings, MT at 1:30 p.m.
The Soldiers are members of 484th Military Police Company who deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The ceremony is designed to publicly acknowledge Montana Army National Guard Soldiers and those who supported them during the President’s call to duty for recent military operations.
“The Freedom Salute ceremony provides us a way to show our appreciation for the service and sacrifice our Soldiers and their families make when they volunteer to deploy for long periods of time,” said Major Tim Crowe, public affairs officer for the Montana National Guard.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony. For more information, contact Maj. Tim Crowe at 461-6889
