Do It For Dustin Campaign Kickoff

Lockwood will have an election for a new district devoted to Alternative Transportation Safety on February 25. When elected, the district will focus on creating paths, trails and lighting on the busiest main streets of Lockwood.

Volunteers in support of the district are working with the Do It For Dustin campaign, in honor of 16 year old, Dustin Freese, who was killed by an automobile while walking on Becraft Lane, January 4, 2013.  There is a Do It For Dustin campaign kick off event, 10am, Saturday, January 18th at First Interstate Bank, 2850 Old Hardin Road, in Lockwood. At this event, volunteers will explain the details of the district, will rally and recruit volunteers, pass out campaign materials and support those who have experienced tragedy with the loss of a loved one, like Dustin Freese.
